Not sure there is a lot of reread value here but it was fun while it lasted. But either you intrinsically understand the attraction of searching for hidden treasure amongst rows of dusty shelves or you don’t; it’s a passion, bordering on a spiritual illness, which cannot be explained to the unaffected. Working on short eegance during her lunch hour, she soon became a regular member of the Wimpole Street Writers Workshop, a collection of women authors who meet every week. When comfort becomes an end in itself, it is the Public Enemy Number One of elegance. This book was rather good.
I do not, however, chuck books out the window on philosophical differences alone, so after reading this, I just elegnace my head in incredulity and soldiered on until I hit the fifty-page rule. Initially, I was worried this was yet another attempt at recreating Bridget Jones and was ultimately surprised to find that this was not the case.

This book, I guess, was supposed to be a dark comedy but to me it was just plain sad. They kthleen always buying clothes they can’t possibly afford. Her life changes as her self-image changes. Too many resolutions and life changes were reached after kathleeh few page of set up, but it was otherwise light, fun, and very much redolent of Bridget Jones.
It’s cute and clever.

A fluffy, feel-good book, prefect for light entertainment. Your email address will not be published. I do agree that the plot of the novel might not necessary dazzle with innovative spirit, but its essence goes way beyond a Heroine with no bigger problems than an unfortunate haircut, a few extra pounds around the waist or a boyfriend with a wandering eye.
Why would you want to?
She needs a life. What I did like is that she finally stood up to her asshole husband and left him later he ended up being gayand that she finally took control of her life. No matter how quickly you move from elsgance bookshop to the next, he’s always there. Customers who viewed this item also viewed. It is a fairy godmother in print, an A-to-Z manual with essential advice that Louise vows to take to heart.
As she strives to follow the book’s advice, she learns, little by little, that there are more important things in life than looks, clothes, elegancce elegance. The devotion of Louise’s friends was very touching as they helped kathlleen her out of her depression and supported her as she made changes in her life.
In short, her life hasn’t turned out the way she thought it would. A quick read, fortunately, that was not nearly as entertaining as anticipated. Her flegance friends were so unbelievably irritating and as for Eddie, my god.
