Again, this sort of thing should have been caught by an editor. There are fozens discussion topics on this book yet. I think most of the things are explained nicely. I think it is a very good choice to start perl with begjnning you are a complete noob in programming.

Simon Cozens is a freelance programmer who has extensive commercial experience developing in Perl for Oracle, amongst other clients. Great tutorial, big help. I don’t suggest the Llama book to complete cozes as I have seen it confuss them.

Its been quite a while since the book came out, around year or so, but I still find it quite helpful. It covers both basic and advanced aspects of Perl, Apache modPerl and Perlscript for use with Wintel systems and stresses the cross-platform nature of Perl, with extensive examples and techniques.
