Not a fan of Ranney’s, but A Borrowed Scot was fairly decent. When her hero ignored her, she returned the favor and ignored him. Fortunately, all this silliness is a small part of what, overall, is an interesting, well-written book. Such awkward, seemingly incomplete conversations with the heroine. Montgomery and Veronica are both atypical characters, and he is the more unusual of the pair. If asked, I would recommend this book to fans of the author I was unsure how to rate this book.
